While the 2020 celebration was canceled and this year's event was not held in-person as hoped, our event committee still pulled off a virtual, yet meaningful celebration. Email invitations and a small website replaced the traditional print save-the-dates and programs. An example of a how a few customizations — animated confetti and festive graphics — can be added to standard CMS templates to make a quick branded site that feels thoughtful and special. Although annual reports are trending towards high-level summaries and high-impact stories, sometimes the audience wants a traditional assemblage of data — lists, tables, charts and graphs — in a traditional, print-ready, flip-book format.
Check out the previous year's report too.

SeniorHomes.com is a free nationwide resource that offers referral services for assisted living, independent living, and other senior housing. The content-heavy website had grown to include thousands of facility listings and informational articles, and badly needed a redesign since it’s initial launch in 2009.
The home page layout was given a complete overhaul. The main search function was moved front and center, followed by clean simplified panels, clearly outlining the benefits with SeniorHomes.com: testimonials, website features, free support services, etc.
Second-level listings pages were also a major entry point to the site through organic search results. Data hierarchy was reorganized and laid out more logically, the page layout was given more whitespace, text sizes were increased to a more legible size, and the color palette was updated to follow brand guidelines.
Redesigned the Request for Information forms and rewrote the bullet points with more effective copy. Conversion increased by 4%.
